Job summary

Stone Co is seeking a technical leader to guide a 4–6 person backend squad. You will work closely with product and compliance teams, shaping architecture, reviews, and delivery across Go and Elixir services.

You will drive processes, foster high-quality code, and mentor engineers while aligning roadmaps with regulatory and business goals.

Qualifications

• Technical leadership experience with agile methodologies.
• Backend development experience with Go and/or Elixir.
• RESTful APIs and HTTP protocol knowledge.
• Messaging and asynchronous processing (Kafka, batch file processing).
• Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, SOLID, Clean Code, design patterns.
• Testing: unit, integration, stress and mutation.
• Relational and non-relational databases, caching, distributed processing.
• DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation.
• Docker, Kubernetes and cloud.

• Experience with critical, highly available applications
