Phillips Lytle LLP in Buffalo, NY is expanding our Banking & Financial Services Practice. We seek an Attorney with 4–6 years of experience in secured financial transactions and/or commercial real estate, including drafting and negotiating loan documents and conducting due diligence.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience handling secured financial transactions and/or commercial real estate.
• Experience drafting and negotiating loan documents, intercreditor agreements, mortgages and security agreements.
• Experience collecting and reviewing due diligence (title reports, UCC searches, entity formation documents, leases).
• Ability to work on national-scale transactions.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in sophisticated financial transactions and real estate deals.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents (loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, mortgages, security agreements).
• Perform title, UCC, and other due diligence; review leases and entity formation documents.
• Provide client contact and contribute to business development.

The Banking and Financial Services Practice Group seeks to hire an Attorney (Buffalo) with 4-6 years of experience handling secured financial transactions and/or commercial real estate experience, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents (i.e. loan agreements, intercreditor agreements and various loan and collateral documents including mortgages and security agreements) and collecting and reviewing due diligence (i.e. title reports, UCC searches, entity formation documents, leases).
