Job Summary
Manage and grow a portfolio of high net worth clients, trusts, investment holding companies, and businesses, servicing their banking, lending, and foreign exchange requirements. Provide specialist advice and support in developing tactical strategies and plans, or in practice formulation and best practice improvements.
Job Description
New Business Organisation:
- Devise short-term tactical plans to meet annual budgets and targets over 6 to 12 months.
- Identify, develop, and source new High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth relationships through personal and client referrals, internal networks within Absa Group Limited, and fostering collaboration within the group and WIMI business unit.
- Achieve personal targets for new and existing clients in Transactional Banking, Credit, FX.
- Refer relevant business to other parts of Wealth Advisory and the broader Absa Group.
Client Service:
- Manage and grow existing client relationships through quarterly meetings and annual credit reviews.
- Maintain high service levels, ensuring collaboration among support teams to deliver excellent client experience.
- Serve as the key contact and coordinator for all client advice related to Transactional Banking, Credit, FX.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives in Structured Lending, Advisory, FX, SSG, and Investment Banking.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain high service standards for existing clients.
- Act as the primary contact for banking and credit advice and client queries.
- Coordinate between clients and various parts of Absa Group Limited/WIMI and the wider group.
- Participate in credit-related tasks, including client interactions and financial analysis.
- Ensure timely credit reviews and liaise with product teams for credit tasks.
Governance and Control:
- Ensure compliance with global and market standards, regulations, KYC, and operating procedures.
Query Resolution:
- Handle client portfolio queries and act as escalation point for serious issues.
Operational Support:
- Prepare timely documentation for client meetings and follow-up.
- Serve as the main contact for clients' day-to-day administration across services and products.
Education
Postgraduate degrees and professional qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Management are required.
