Position Overview

Under the direct supervision of a Bank or Market Manager, this role involves assisting customers in a transitional capacity focused on delivering exceptional service and quality with every transaction. The role includes learning and modeling sales behaviors to advance through the banker roadmap and certification. Responsibilities include performing teller transactions, servicing customer needs, resolving issues, and proactively recommending Associated Bank products to existing customers and prospects. Providing excellent customer service by accurately processing transactions and demonstrating digital alternatives is essential. As you progress through the roadmap, you will complete curriculum requirements, meet performance milestones, and pass the Banker certification for promotion eligibility. This position may require working at multiple branch locations to support flexibility and mobility.

Compliance and Requirements

• This position requires a credit check in accordance with 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z.
• Operate in full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Submit necessary information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain registration as required.

• Participate in comprehensive training to prepare for success.

• Provide efficient and accurate transaction processing.
• Identify and service customer needs, resolve issues, and build community relationships.
• Open new accounts and identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer financial wellness.
• Partner with internal departments such as insurance, mortgage, and others to meet customer needs.
• Support operational integrity of the branch.
• Proactively prospect at in-store locations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience. Required
• Experience: Less than 2 years of customer-facing sales and/or service experience. Required
