The Teller will work with a team to support branch operations, maintain account security, and promote bank products while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of bank operations policies and procedures preferred.
• Basic cash handling skills/experience preferred.
• Able to operate related computer applications and business equipment (adding machine, typewriter, counting machines, etc.).
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Good typing skills.
• Good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Represents the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
• Receives deposits and loan payments in person or by mail.
• Processes cash advances, gift/travel cards, checks, and similar transactions.
• Disburses cash after verification of signatures and balances.
• Processes transfers and end-of-day balancing.
• Maintains security of the work area and locks drawers when leaving.
• Promotes bank products and services as appropriate.
• Keeps work area clean and well maintained.
• Attends meetings and completes required reports.
