Job summary

Wells Fargo in Grass Valley, CA is seeking a Teller to join our National Branch Network. In this front-line role you will support customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, processing transactions accurately, and delivering a welcoming, reliable experience.

As a primary point of contact, you will build relationships, guide customers to digital tools, identify needs, and refer complex questions to a banker.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of interacting with customers in a service setting.
• Cash handling experience with accuracy and accountability.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and controls.
• Professional, integrity-driven approach focused on building trust.
• Ability to educate customers on digital banking tools and services.

Responsibilities

• Process routine service transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing) accurately.
• Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to digital tools or the appropriate team member.
• Build relationships, listen actively, and connect customers to relevant information and bankers.
• Identify potential needs and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
• Complete transactional activities with sound judgment and risk awareness.
• Collaborate with branch teammates to deliver strong operations and service; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Resolve routine questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
