American Momentum Bank is seeking a friendly Teller for our Midland, TX branch. You will greet clients, handle cash transactions, deposits and withdrawals, and maintain accurate records while following bank procedures.

Responsibilities include balancing cash drawer, issuing checks, assisting with account openings, and referring customers to specialists for product information. Strong accuracy, courtesy, and knowledge of banking policies are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years Teller experience; 2+ years cash handling may substitute.
• Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobby or by phone.
• Cash handling with clients, including disbursements & deposits, and recording and proofing transactions.
• Process credits and debits, including deposits/withdrawals.
• Verify cash drawer balance and prepare daily forms.
• Issue travelers checks, money orders, savings bonds, and official bank checks.
• Maintain proper cash supply and daily proof records.
• Assist Banking Center Manager with audit records and checklists.
• Refer clients to banking associates for product information or problem resolution.
• Cross-train to open new accounts or assist a personal banker.
• Perform client service transactions: address changes, stop payments, check orders, balances, loan payments.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and night deposits/ATM transactions.
• Collaborate with teammates for lobby management and security.
