Job summary

The Citizens State Bank in Goessel, KS is seeking a Teller 1 to handle cash transactions and provide friendly, accurate service to customers. You will support deposit processing, respond to routine inquiries, and maintain daily records with attention to detail in a busy, service-oriented environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior cash handling experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Previous customer service and cash handling experience required.
• Spanish bi-lingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service as the bank’s primary contact with the public.
• Receive checking and savings deposits; verify cash and endorsements; issue receipts.
• Answer basic inquiries about rates, service charges and account histories.
• Required to work the drive-up and to float between stations.
• Must be able to work Saturday staff rotation and adhere to bank policies.
• Follow Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act procedures and maintain accuracy.
• Maintain legible handwriting and accurate data entry for transactions.
