Job summary

Citizens Bank in Kilgore, Texas, is looking for a Teller to join our branch team. You will greet customers, complete banking transactions, cash checks, verify endorsements, and ensure accuracy while delivering friendly service.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will handle account inquiries, cross-sell bank products, assist during peak hours, and perform standard teller duties such as balancing cash and preparing deposits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of Windows-based software and 10-key by touch.
• Detail oriented and highly accurate.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and complete banking transactions promptly and accurately.
• Cash checks and verify funds and endorsements.
• Examine checks for endorsements and verify information.
• Resolve transactions outside policy and assist customers.
• Respond to account inquiries and cross-sell bank products.
• Assist other staff during peak hours and handle calls.
• Reconcile bank reports weekly or monthly as needed.
• Explain or sell travelers' checks, money orders, and related products.
• Perform clerical tasks and standard teller duties including balancing.
