Description

SUMMARY: Processes a variety of customer transactions at a teller window. Recognizes customer needs and recommends products, services, or assistance of other bank employees or departments to consistently deliver a superior level of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Possess strong knowledge of bank products and services, with the ability to recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products.
• Participate in the bank's referral program and utilize applicable technology and/or programs to show results.
• Meet specific referral goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Operate and balance a terminal and cash drawer daily.
• Accept and process transactions including savings, checking, holiday savings accounts, loan payments, SDB rental payments, money orders/official checks, and cash withdrawals.
• Accept checks for cashing following FNB check handling procedures.
• Complete all required training courses.
• Be flexible and foster teamwork.
• Assist with duties related to money shipments and orders.
• Perform additional branch duties outside transaction processing as needed.
• Handle all cash, customer transactions, and information securely and confidentially.
• Make outbound sales calls to current and prospective clients.
• Maintain flexibility in work schedules to meet staffing needs.
• Maintain trustworthiness by keeping customer information confidential.
• Accept responsibilities and projects assigned by supervisors to add value.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Complete mandatory and elective training, including BSA and AML procedures, maintaining compliance with all rules and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proven cash handling experience.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
• Customer service and/or sales experience.
