Bank Support Worker

Salary: £12.25 per hour

This can be done through support to live in their own homes, learning new skills at day opportunities or receiving work training to move towards employment.

About the role:

  • To support individuals to meet their goals and outcomes in health, wellbeing and independence.
  • Assist individuals with their personal, social and healthcare needs as required whilst maintaining accurate records.
  • To work as part of a team as well as lone working within the community as needed.
  • Work with allocated individuals as their keyworker.
  • Interact and communicate with the people you support in a way that promotes dignity and respect.
  • Support individuals with everyday tasks as required.

What are we looking for:

  • Motivated, honest and approachable individuals who are great at building and nurturing relationships.
  • Experience of providing high levels of care and support to those with learning disabilities in a social care setting.
  • Aspirations to develop skills at support worker level and beyond!
  • Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is desirable but training will be provided.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential

Other important information:

  • Due to the role a UK Driving licence with access to a car for business use is essential
  • This role will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure, which the cost incurred will be paid by Minstead Trust
