Regions Bank in Hoover, AL, is seeking a Bank Operations Specialist to perform a range of operational tasks within Bank Operations. The role includes handling incoming work, resolving inquiries, and preparing documents.

You’ll work on time tracking and ensure compliance with risk management and cybersecurity practices, with overtime eligibility per FLSA. Requires a high school diploma or GED; one year of related experience is preferred.

Job Description:

At Regions, the Bank Operations Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within Bank Operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed
• Resolves customer or associate inquiries as necessary
• Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects documents
• Researches and resolves related issues and general related questions
• Works under general supervision following established guidelines and procedures
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

• One (1) year of operations or related work experience

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance

Associates are expected to work a regular onsite work schedule, with full-day attendance required in the office.

Associates must have the flexibility to work scheduled hours between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, based on business needs.

*This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum: $37,750.00 USD

Median: $44,940.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This job is not incentive eligible.
