Bank Operations Associate / Analyst - Reconciliations

Responsibilities

1. Perform daily nostro Bank account reconciliations using Metro CARS.
2. Monitor and resolve items in Metro CARS repair queue.
3. Research open items and inquiries using MTS.
4. Prepare and distribute open items reports to back-office units.
5. Monitor nostro account balances and explain overdrafts.
6. Distribute aged open items reports to unit heads.
7. Reconcile checks and lockbox accounts daily and distribute findings.
8. Run and manage Custodian and Pledge reports using Seclen for security operations.
9. Coordinate with back-office units to investigate open/matched items.
10. Create reconciliation reports from report center/excel.
11. Use macros to prepare daily statistics and rates.
12. Generate end-of-day reports, including open items, match reports, and account status.
13. Support ad-hoc operations, system updates, and procedural changes.
14. Handle internal and external audit inquiries.
15. Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reconciliations.
16. Compile quarterly Mizuho Foundation Reports.
17. Provide backup support for team members out of the office.
18. Ensure compliance with quarterly legal, compliance, and training requirements.

The base salary ranges from $59,000 to $100,000, depending on skills, experience, education, and certifications. Offers include a benefits package and discretionary bonus.
