Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Bank Loan Reporting Specialist to support Invesco Bank Loan Team in Illinois. You will assist portfolio management with reporting, trade support, and settlement activities, while maintaining data quality and timely delivery to internal clients.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in investment-related roles, and familiarity with bonds and fund operations. Strong Excel/Office skills and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience required; finance/accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience in finance or investment reporting.
• Familiarity with bonds, bond settlements, and fund operations is desired.
• Experience in a reporting or oversight role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Producing scheduled reporting deliverables for internal clients including investment, reporting, legal & compliance.
• Collaborate with team to provide top-tier service to internal and external clients.
• Support traders to ensure timely and accurate trade entries for ISSMs products.
• Coordinate with trade closing and settlement teams; liaise with traders, counterparties, and banks.
• Maintain data quality and integrity; perform data mining and analysis for Bank Loan clients.

Job description

As a premier global investment organization, the Invesco Bank Loan Team offers a full product line of investment options to both institutional and retail investors. This opportunity with the Bank Loan Oversight and Administration Team will provide support to the portfolio management and investment team covering various reporting areas, trade support, and settlement efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the production of various scheduled reporting deliverables for internal clients, including, but not limited, to the investment team, reporting team members, legal & compliance
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure the group provides top-tier service to both internal and external clients and service providers
• Work in support of the trader to ensure that all trading activity is being efficiently and accurately entered in a timely manner in support of ISSMs products
• Collectively work with the trade closing team to assist in the coordination and facilitation of settlement efforts. Liaison with Invesco traders, trade counterparties, and agent banks
• Support the team to ensure and maintain the data quality and integrity of the critical information that supports the business. Complete data mining, from a variety of internal & external sources, and analysis for Bank Loan clients

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience required, business (Finance/Accounting) degree preferred
• 2+ years of work experience preferred
• Familiarity and experience with bonds and bond settlements is desired
• A solid understanding of the security/loan market (LMA) and fund operations is desired
• Experience in a reporting/product oversight role is a plus
• Experience in the investment management space is a plus
