Job summary

Toyota TFSB Internal Audit Department seeks a Bank IT Audit Manager to provide oversight of IT audit engagements, ensuring regulatory and professional standards are met. Reporting to the IT Audit Director, you will guide technology audits across the Bank’s operations, delivering insights that strengthen controls and drive risk-based improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in a similar field and/or industry
  • 2+ years of IT audit management experience
  • Expertise in IT compliance audits (SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, PCI DSS, GDPR, CPRA, NYDFS)
  • Expertise in IT audits using NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, COSO, ITIL
  • Knowledge of desktop applications, distributed platforms, OS, databases, networks, and IT security tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute high-quality, risk-based technology audits from planning to final reporting and ITGC delivery
  • Develop risk assessments and audit plans aligned with COSO, NIST, and policy frameworks
  • Review workpapers and test results for quality and regulatory alignment
  • Validate management’s corrective actions through remediation testing
  • Partner with senior management to provide advisory support and drive issue resolution
  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members for strong audit performance
  • Oversee co-source partner activities to ensure service levels and budget

Who we’re looking for

Toyota TFSB Internal Audit Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Bank IT Audit Manager.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide oversight and direction to ensure IT audit engagements meet regulatory and professional standards, producing meaningful insights that strengthen our control environment.

Reporting to the IT Audit Director, the person in this role will support the TFSB Internal Audit Department's objective to lead high-quality, risk-based technology audits across the Bank’s business operations and functions.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our technology landscape, balancing rigorous risk assessment with strategic collaboration to drive meaningful change. Success means delivering high-impact audit results that not only meet regulatory expectations but also foster professional growth within your team and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.

  • Lead and execute high-quality, risk-based technology audits from planning and scoping through final reporting and ITGC delivery.
  • Develop thoughtful risk assessments and audit plans aligned with professional standards, department policies, and COSO frameworks.
  • Review audit workpapers and test results to ensure strong quality, consistency, and alignment with internal and regulatory expectations.
  • Validate management’s corrective actions by performing and overseeing remediation testing for regulatory issues and audit findings.
  • Partner with senior management and business stakeholders to provide objective advisory support and help drive effective issue resolution.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members while fostering a culture of professional growth and strong audit performance.
  • Oversee co-source partner activities to help ensure service levels are met and engagements stay on budget.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in a similar field and/or industry.
  • 2+ years of IT audit management experience.
  • Expertise in conducting IT compliance audits:
    • SOX
    • GLBA
    • FFIEC
    • PCI DSS
    • GDPR
    • CCPA/CPRA
    • NYDFS
  • Expertise in conducting IT audits using industry-standard frameworks:
    • NIST CSF
    • NIST SP 800-53
    • ISO 27001/27002
    • COSO
    • ITIL
  • Expertise includes knowledge of desktop applications, distributed platforms, operating systems, databases, network systems, web-based technology, infrastructure, and IT security tools and techniques. Various technologies exposure and familiarity with the IT environment.

Added bonus if you have

  • MBA / Advanced degree or training in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.
  • Experience working with TeamMate+ audit software.
  • Experience revising audit methodologies.
