Qualifications

  • Experience performing examinations of fiscal records in financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with state and federal banking laws.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to prepare reports on banking examinations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist higher-ranking examiner in routine fiscal examinations of state-chartered financial institutions and related entities.
  • Count cash and verify account balances; examine collateral, loans, deposits and related records.
  • Assist in calculating earnings and expenditures and preparing examination reports.
  • Receive and review complaints about financial institutions and submit findings reports.
  • Assist in preparing annual and special reports.
