Forvis Mazars, LLP seeks an experienced Consumer Compliance professional on a contract basis to support testing and monitoring within a financial institution's compliance program. This remote engagement runs for 6-8 weeks.

You will perform testing of consumer lending and mortgage activities, assess CMS controls, conduct fair lending reviews, and document findings with remediation support. Ideal candidates have senior compliance leadership experience and reside in the continental US.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 20+ years of compliance experience.
• Previously served as a Chief Compliance Officer at a top US bank.
• Residency in the continental United States required.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Consumer Compliance professional to support testing and monitoring activities within a financial institution's compliance program on a contract basis. This opportunity is remote with a duratiion of 6-8 weeks

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance testing and monitoring of consumer lending and mortgage activities.
• Assess Compliance Management System (CMS) controls, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct fair lending reviews to identify potential compliance and regulatory risks.
• Document testing results, findings, and recommendations, and support remediation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 20+ years of relevant compliance experience
• Prior experience as a Chief Compliance Officer at top US bank
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
