48forty Solutions in Orangeburg, SC is seeking a motivated Bandsaw Operator to set up and operate power saws for cutting and trimming wood pallets. You will play a key role in our pallet manufacturing process and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The position is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm with hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $25.00. High school diploma or GED is required, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime.

Job description

As a Bandsaw Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay

$15.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. (production-based position)

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed
