Position: Band Teacher

Reports To: Administrator

Position Summary

St. Theresa Catholic School in Des Moines is seeking a passionate and faith-filled part-time 5-8 Band Teacher to grow our band and lead our band program. The ideal candidate will foster a love of music while supporting the mission of Catholic education.

Essential Responsibilities

• Leading Beginning and Advanced Bands groups
• Preparing students through lessons and group bands for concerts and special events
• Directing student performances and coordinating seasonal programs
• Integrating instrumental experiences
• Maintaining a positive, organized, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field
