Job summary

Engineered Steel Products (ESP), a New Page Capital Company, is hiring a Band Saw Operator to join our Sophia, NC processing team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will operate band saw and related equipment, measure parts, set up machines, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Reading drawings and maintaining accuracy are essential, with attention to quality and efficiency. Experience with overhead cranes is a plus, and we value dependable, organized workers who can follow instructions with

Qualifications

• Knowledge of structural steel shapes and sizes.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch.
• Experience operating an overhead crane.
• Organized, dependable and detail-oriented.
• Strong focus on safety and quality work.

Responsibilities

• Operate Band Saw, Drill Line, Angle Line, and Plasma Table.
• Cut and process steel to job specs and drawings.
• Measure and verify parts for accuracy.
• Set up machines correctly and run jobs efficiently.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance (greasing/oiling).
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Work closely with Shop Foreman and Plant Manager.

Band Saw Operator

Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Engineered Steel Products (ESP), a New Page Capital Company, is a North Carolina based steel fabrication company providing structural and miscellaneous steel for the construction industry. Engineered Steel’s vision is to provide world-class customer service and steel to customers. We are hiring a Band Saw Operator in our processing area on a full-time basis to work onsite in Sophia, NC.

Responsibilities

• Operate Band Saw, Drill Line, Angle Line, and Plasma Table
• Cut and process steel to job specs and drawings
• Measure and verify parts for accuracy
• Set up machines correctly and run jobs efficiently
• Perform daily equipment maintenance (greasing/oiling)
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Work closely with the Shop Foreman and Plant Manager

Requirements:
