Job Description

As a band saw operator, you will operate and maintain the band saw to cut various materials into specified shapes. Responsibilities include routine preventative maintenance and regular inspection of the saw for defects such as broken wheels or missing teeth.

Applicants must pass a tape measure test and basic math test involving decimals and fractions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, punctual, reliable, safety-conscious, positive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Two years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.

Ideal Candidate Must:

• Have a clean work history & pass a physical/drug screen.
• Be able to read a tape measure and pass a tape test.
• Have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Work with urgency while maintaining accuracy.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be able to work in any weather conditions.
• Be flexible to work overtime, including weekends.
