White Deer ISD has an opening for a highly qualified Band Director to teach band 5th grade- 12th for the 26-27 school year. White Deer has an award-winning band program which is the source of great pride in the community. The Band Hall at White Deer is state of the art. We are currently paying $6,000 above base and offer $300 a month towards insurance. Come join our great team here in White Deer.

Job Description to include, but not limited to the following with the expectation that the band program will continue to develop, grow and excel:

• Teaching/directing solo and ensemble practice before/after school.
• Competing in band contests, festivals, and competitions that showcase the students' talents.
• Preparing bands for special concerts and performances throughout the year
• Managing band budgets, activity accounts, and fundraising activities
• Work with other district teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for students to be successful.
