Job summary

• Assist the band director in managing and developing the band program.
• Help plan and conduct rehearsals and sectional practices.
• Provide music instruction and support students in developing their musical skills.
• Teach and reinforce proper technique, musicality, and performance skills.
• Assist with concerts, competitions, parades, and other performances.
• Work with assigned sections or ensembles to improve student performance.
• Assist with marching band activities, including rehearsals, performances, and competitions when applicable.
• Help manage instruments, uniforms, music, and equipment.
• Monitor student attendance, participation, behavior, and progress.
• Provide appropriate supervision during rehearsals, performances, trips, and other band activities.
• Communicate with students and parents regarding program expectations and activities.
• Support student leadership and teamwork within the band.
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Perform other duties assigned by the band director or school administration.

Stipend Range: $4,127.00-$5,331.00 (SY 26-27)
