Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Band 7 Mammographer for an ongoing, full-time locum role in Lancaster, UK. The position offers an hourly rate of £31.00, with opportunities to develop expertise in a supportive clinical environment across varied cases.

The role requires HCPC registered Radiographer status with mammography experience (minimum 2 years post-registration) and competence in advanced techniques such as stereotactic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mammography techniques including stereotactic biopsies and magseed placements.
• Interpret screening and symptomatic mammograms with a high level of accuracy.
• Participate in Two-Week Wait ultrasound clinics when required.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain high standards of imaging quality, safety and patient care.
• Stay up to date with developments in mammography and integrate best practices.
