Job summary

PE Global (UK) is seeking enthusiastic Community Nurses to support NHS clients in Sussex on long-term contracts and Ad-Hoc shift work. Competitive pay includes mileage allowances.

You will coordinate care for individuals with long-term conditions, administer medications, manage wounds and catheter care in clinics and at home. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of community experience in the UK, a full UK driving license, and the ability to work with diverse patient groups.

Qualifications

  • 6 months experience of working at relevant level within the community in the UK
  • Has a full UK driving license and access to an insured car daily
  • Able to work within a diverse community of patients and health care professionals
  • Effective communication skills written, verbal and non-verbal with the ability to adapt communication for individuals with communication difficulties
  • Able to make clinically reasoned judgements when working with a variety of conditions
  • Able to work autonomously, and ability to know when to seek appropriate advice / guidance from senior staff
  • Effective time management and caseload management
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of clinical outcomes measures, clinical audit
  • Experience with EMIS, undertaking assessments, providing holistic care to elderly patients on DN caseload
  • Management of long-term conditions and palliative care
  • Aware of safeguarding adults
  • Search for health needs and working with the core and wider MDT to meet patient needs
