Summary:
Order Picker C level employees accurately pull orders to meet the customer’s requirements in a timely and efficient manner. Picking basic orders by fork truck or pallet jack and manually floor loading full trucks or unloading inbound containers. Order Picker C level can also assume shipping dock desk role if needed, in order to maintain JDA WMS system.
Primary Responsibilities:
Production Duties:
- Accurately pulling daily assigned orders in a manner that meets customer’s requirements via fork truck or pallet jack.
- Correct pallet selections.
- Proper labeling.
- Accurate product selection.
- Floor load outbound shipments.
- Familiar with RF scanners to pick basic orders out of WMS system.
- Familiar with JDA Graphic User Interface system if needed.
- Unload inbound freight.
- Meet efficiency requirements while performing tasks.
- Follow all required safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Material handling/order picking experience preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attentive to details and numbers.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions.
Physical Demands:
Employee must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Employee must have the ability to complete the following repetitive tasks. Percent involved in each applicable activity is noted.

Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Forklift operation requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protection, and hardhats. Jewelry is not permitted.
Special Requirements:
Must pass:
- Pre-employment drug screen and physical.
- Background check.

- 40 hours of non-paid time off starts at time of hire and requires supervisor approval to use.
- PTO accrual starts at time of hire; 1 hour earned for every 40 hours worked. PTO can be used for any reason after 90 days of employment.

Requirements
Shifts available dependent on current openings based on production needs:
Day shift M-F 6:00am-3:30pm OR M-F 7:00am-3:30pm (schedules are based on company need)
2nd shift M-F 3:00pm-11:30pm with 10% shift premium
Night shift Su-Th 6:00pm-3:30am OR Su-Th 6:00pm-6:00am with 15% shift premium (schedules are based on company need)
