The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is a key role responsible for providing management with analysis and insights into Citi’s financial results, in collaboration with the broader Finance team. The role involves generating and analyzing reports, developing new techniques to improve processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Address strategic issues on an ad hoc basis, complementing regular planning and analysis processes.
- Contribute to Quarterly Competitor Reviews, Annotated Supplements, and Investment Reports.
- Generate highlights for Board and Executive reports.
- Develop and review processes such as annual planning and forecasting, comparing results against plans monthly.
- Participate in budget forecasts, strategic and operating plans, and monthly outlooks.
- Oversee risk capital estimation and incorporate results into management metrics.
- Analyze management review presentations for Regions and Products.
- Execute activities for client-facing FP&A teams.
- Prepare review materials for leadership and regulators.
- Operate with limited supervision, exercising judgment and autonomy.
- Serve as SME to stakeholders and team members.
- Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance and ethical standards, and escalate issues transparently.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience with financial platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
