Job summary

Amatus Health in Baltimore, MD seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our detox center. The RN will provide direct patient care, medical assessments, medication administration, and monitoring in a fast-paced addiction treatment environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Maryland RN license with experience in addiction services and strong communication skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support recovery-oriented care.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Maryland RN license.
• Experience in addiction treatment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, non-judgmental care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of patient health and treatment progress.
• Support patients throughout phases of addiction treatment, including stabilization and recovery support.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, counselors, and the multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families about substance use disorders, treatment options, relapse prevention, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
