Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse in Baltimore, MD to join our travel nursing team. The ICU RN will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting, monitor patients, and document physician-directed plans.

Travel experience preferred with a 13-week assignment and 36 hours per week on 12-hour rotating shifts. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RN with 1-2 years acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ICU bedside care and monitoring for critically ill patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Educate and support patient families on care plans and expectations.
