Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol) in Baltimore, MD. You will perform routine day shifts, patrol production areas, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining logs and documentation.

The role requires a Certified Protection Officer certification, high school diploma or equivalent, and background/drug screening as per laws. On-site schedule with steady shifts and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certified Protection Officer certification is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and documentation.
• Report hazards, facility concerns, and unusual activity to site leadership per protocols.
