Job summary

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, basic drawing/blueprint reading, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Oracle EBS is a plus; must pass range

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
• Basic drawing/blueprint reading abilities.
• Computer skills with MS Office; training on data analysis; familiarity with Oracle EBS.
• Pass range certification within the first year; understand SAAMI/government test standards; knowledge of inspection equipment.
• Clear written and verbal communication; professional teamwork abilities.
• Willing to adapt tasks and shifts; maintain safety and ISO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ammunition ballistics tests per control plans and SAAMI/government standards.
• Follow the Red Tag process and notify management of nonconformities.
• Review Bills of Materials to ensure correct components and lot numbering.
• Perform basic range inspections according to procedures.
• May travel to test locations, potentially in front of government representatives.
• Participate in 5S workplace organization and sustainment activities.
• Engage in continuous improvement tasks and adhere to Safety and ISO procedures.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance and adapt to business needs.
