West Valley Dance Company in San Jose is seeking a passionate, experienced part-time Ballet Teacher for our Bascom Avenue studio. You’ll provide engaging ballet instruction to dancers of varied ages and abilities, creating a supportive classroom environment that fosters growth, creativity, and teamwork.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 4:00–8:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Compensation ranges from $25–$50 per hour, depending on experience and position requirements, with benefits for 30+ hours per

West Valley Dance Company is a premier dance studio with locations in San Jose, Willow Glen, and Mountain View, offering professional dance education for dancers of all ages and skill levels. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced part-time Ballet Teacher to join our team at our Bascom Avenue studio in San Jose.

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM.

Our instructors work with dancers ranging from 18 months to 18 years old, teaching a variety of styles while fostering confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of dance. WVDC instructors are more than teachers- they are mentors who inspire and guide the next generation of dancers.

What You'll Do

• Provide engaging and professional ballet instruction to students of varying ages and abilities

Compensation: $25-50/hr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

• Have a strong dance background and a genuine passion for both dance and teaching
• Have experience working with children and students ages 18 months-18 years (preferred)
• Bring energy, creativity, and encouragement into every class
• Be committed to helping dancers develop both technical skills and confidence for life
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and team members
• Be reliable, professional, and a collaborative team player
• Have reliable transportation and a desire to continue learning and growing
