Conferences and Institutes is seeking a Ballet Instructor for the State Musical Theatre Summer Program to be held July 26 – August 8, 2026.

Job Description

The Ballet Instructor will provide 24‑hour supervision and safety oversight for minors participating in the program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily program administration, including youth compliance policies, emergency response, and program documentation.
• Maintain direct communication with the Program Director and Program Manager.
• Collect, store, verify, and oversee medication and participant health information.
• Assist in developing instructional content and deliver ballet lessons and activities.
• Monitor the safety, whereabouts, and behavior of program participants at all times, including during non‑instructional periods.
• Identify and respond promptly to issues concerning participant interactions, behavior, mental health, and acclimation to the program environment.
• Address situations at any time of day or night by acting quickly, calmly, and with sound judgment.
• Handle sensitive information and behavior issues while immediately following all notification protocols.
