Position: Ball Plant - Tool Room - Tool Refurbish Operators

Manufacturing products that matter!
As a Grind Floor Machine Operator, you will produce precision bearing components used in aircraft engines, aircraft structures, and defense equipment for the U.S. Military.

We offer a 15% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

On a typical day as a Ball Plant / Tool Room / Tool Refurbish Machine Operator, you will:

1. Produce quality parts based on order priorities
2. Complete machine set-ups
3. Load materials and change tooling and attachments as needed
4. Maintain necessary paperwork
5. Perform mathematical calculations for machine settings and materials
6. Follow all safety rules and regulations

Machine operator tasks include using various machines, gauging and measuring with hand tools, and operating related equipment.

Skills required for the Machine Operator position include:

• Previous manufacturing and machinery experience preferred
• 3+ years of work experience as a machinist is desirable
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to diagnose machine problems and recommend solutions
• Proficiency or willingness to learn the use of specialized tools
• Basic math skills and understanding of the metric system
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs
