Job summary

Jordan's Furniture in Taunton, MA is seeking a team player for the QC and Returns departments. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, with a pay range of $18.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• 0–6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to lift and move materials up to 110 lbs safely.
• Must be certified through Crown Lift Training Program to operate forklift/pallet jack.
• Must read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area.
• Separates recyclable material from trash.
• Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.
• Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.
• Handles, repackages, and moves returned merchandise.
• Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department’s daily operations.
• Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris.
• Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor.
