Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, production, or recycling environments preferred.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, operate, and monitor balers to ensure efficient compaction of waste materials.
• Break down, sort, and transport recyclable materials to the baler.
• Securely bind finished bales with wire or twine, label them, remove them from the machine and transport them to the holding location within the building.
• Perform routine cleaning on the baler and work area to prevent downtime or injury.
• Dispose of trash as needed.
• Janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of required areas.
• Transport, carry, and lift tools, materials, and equipment as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
