Job summary

Goodwill of the Great Plains is seeking a Baler Operator in Sioux City, IA. Regular full-time position with hours Monday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm and Friday 7:00am-2:30pm, paying $16.97 per hour. Responsibilities include starting the ram, removing finished bales, tying with bands, and assisting with loading materials from trailers. HS diploma preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate baler machine switches to compress materials.
• Open compression chamber door and remove bales.
• Thread tie bands around bale and tighten.
• Assist with loading/unloading material from trailers and move materials within the facility.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisory staff.
