Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a skilled forklift operator to maintain and drive forklifts, move products, and support warehouse operations. You will operate lifting devices, load and unload materials, and ensure efficient flow of goods in the warehouse and loading bays.

Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment protocols.
Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate forklift with lifting device to move products and materials in warehouse and loading areas.
Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting equipment.
Inventory materials and supply teammates as needed.
Weigh materials and record weights in the computer system or production schedules.
Load/unload materials onto pallets or lifting devices.
Unload and restack cardboard onto pallets and top frames as needed.
Perform warehouse housekeeping with broom and spider web duster.
Inspect chucks under trailer wheels and sort chipboard.
Operate automated baler system.
Handle and dispose of scrap or spoiled materials.
Communicate issues with incoming product and follow up.
Perform other duties as assigned.
