Job summary

Red White & Blue Thrift is seeking a Baler / Forklift Operator to support the efficient baler and forklift operations. You will collect, sort, and feed materials such as clothing, textiles, cardboard, or plastics into the baler hopper and monitor pressure to create tight, secure bales.

Responsibilities include tying and labeling bales, moving them with a forklift to storage areas, and performing routine maintenance while following strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Thrift/retail/warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain baler machines and forklifts.
• Feed materials into baler hopper and monitor controls to ensure proper compaction.
• Securely tie and label bales before transporting to designated storage areas using a forklift.
• Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and support thrift store operations.
