Job summary

Responsibilities include loading waste, feeding the baler, and collaborating with warehouse teams. The role requires a 12-hour shift and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with background and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Ability to read/write/speak English for instructions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating a baler machine.
• 12-hour shift work experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Crate 7-10 bales per shift following safety policies.
• Weigh waste bales and record bale weights on tallies.
• Obtain waste loads from production areas and feed into baler.
• Work with returned goods as needed.
• Daily cleaning around baler, baler box, and area behind ram.

We are currently seeking a Baler Operator for our Sugar Land, Texas facility.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Comply with established safety policies and procedures crating 7-10 bales per shift.
• Accurately weighing waste bales and recording bale weights. on bale tallies
• Obtaining waste loads from production areas as directed, feeding waste into the bailing machine.
• Work with returned goods
• Daily cleaning includes cleaning the area around the baler, cleaning the baler box, behind the ram following safety practices.
• Daily blowing off or vacuuming the baler exterior and daily sweeping the baler room floor.
• Performs other related duties as directed by warehouse management.

The Ideal Candidate Shall Possess The Following

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic math skills required. Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test, which measures basic arithmetic and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating a baler machine.
• 12-hour shift work experience required.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.

Will be required to take a background and drug screen.
