Role Overview

Responsible for developing new and penetrating existing vendor and/or end-user customer relationships, supporting the sales team through training, and helping develop new salespeople.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  1. Prospect and develop new and existing vendor and/or end-user customer relationships, making at least 100 calls per day for the first year.
  2. Drive originations and gross margin to meet objectives.
  3. Collect and analyze customer income, assets, investments, or debts information.
  4. Provide financing solutions tailored to customer needs after assessing their financial situation.
  5. Assist small and mid-sized businesses in securing funding by analyzing financial products.
  6. Conduct regular financing sales training through meetings, calls, trade shows, and one-on-one sessions.
  7. Build strong relationships with management and contacts at vendor and customer accounts.
  8. Enhance existing financing programs with vendors and customers.
  9. Attend trade shows nationwide as required.
  10. Ensure proper administration and communication of new programs.
  11. Collaborate with management and support teams to achieve success.
  12. Practice ethical sales behaviors aligned with Ameris' core values of integrity and honesty.
  13. Engage in self-learning to stay updated.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
  1. Experience in equipment financing sales.
  2. Transferable book of business of $3M or more preferred.
  3. Knowledge of CRM software; Salesforce experience preferred.
Industry and Experience

Minimum of 3 years sales experience in equipment leasing and financing industries.

Education
  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred.
Benefits

Comprehensive employee benefits including health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. Salary range: $30k-$150k/year with average commissions of $10k-$150k+ annually.
