IDEX is hiring for a Balancing Machinist on the 2nd shift to oversee balancing of rotating components such as rotors, impellers, and magnets. You will operate balancing equipment, analyze readings, and adjust to achieve balanced, vibration-free parts.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of balancing machinery experience. 2nd shift offers a 5% differential; benefits include health, 401(k), PTO, and more. Training may occur on 1st shift.

The Balancing Machinist 2nd shift is responsible for overseeing measurement and correction of imbalances in rotating components, including rotors, impellers and magnets. Duties include operating balancing equipment, analyzing readings, and making the necessary adjustments to achieve balanced components and vibration-free operation.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Shop floor working environment Required to wear safety glasses and shoes, and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the production floor 2nd shift hours (Mon-Thurs 4:30PM-3:00AM) 5% Differential pay on 2nd shift. Training may take place on 1st shift (no differential pay while on training shift).

The compensation range for this position is $36,600.00 - $55,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
