Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. in Southfield, MI is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This PERM role focuses on hands-on assembly, testing, and debugging of mechanical systems with attention to quality and safety.

You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and work across a range of machinery, contributing to on-time production and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• U.S. person eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Experience with mechanical and machine assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with working knowledge of basic quality inspection processes.
• Effective communication, math, and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical systems and machinery using hand and power tools.
• Perform basic panel wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate builds.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during assembly.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Communicate with customers as needed to provide updates and ensure requirements are met.
• Support general maintenance tasks.
