Job summary

Sam’s Club in Springfield, IL seeks a Bakery/Packager associate to assist members with bakery orders, wrap and label merchandise, and maintain a clean, ready-to-sell area. You will work in a fast-paced team, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize member satisfaction to ensure fresh items for families.

Responsibilities include following recipes, operating bakery equipment, and using handheld devices to support production and inventory.

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicates with team members; flexible to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Prepares bakery department merchandise per daily production needs; follows recipes; wraps, labels, stores merchandise; complies with food safety standards and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: Uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, merchandising orders, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence and quality control; ensures proper packaging, labeling and storage of items.
