Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. in Concord, CA is hiring for a Bakery/Packager role. You will help prepare fresh baked items, follow recipes, wrap, label and store merchandise to satisfy members and their families. You’ll juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and assist members with bakery orders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with associates to build a strong bakery team and communicate with team members.
• Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; following recipes; wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise ensuring food safety and inventory control.
• Leverages handheld technology to support production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
• Maintains quality and date control standards for bakery items, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, and ensures proper packaging and labeling.
• Demonstrates energy and commitment to high-quality service and products for members.
