Job summary

The GIANT Company in Pottstown, PA, is seeking a store team member to join our bakery and grocery teams. You’ll start by reviewing the shift schedule, gathering supplies, and ensuring PPE compliance before duties begin, helping us serve customers with care.

Duties include assembling and mixing ingredients, baking, labeling and wrapping baked goods, cleaning display cases, and maintaining clean, safe workspaces.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Able to read, write, and communicate to perform duties and follow policies.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare supplies and PPE.
• Assemble and mix ingredients, place on trays, bake goods.
• Package and wrap baked goods, print labels, and display fresh goods.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
• Track and record loss.
