Position Summary... As a Bakery Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Bakery and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the members' expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Leader: Supervises the team within the Bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating the goals of the department, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and being an advocate for the member, the associate, and the company. Works collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets members' expectations.
- Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of business operations, product specifications, and seasonality. Ensures the Bakery department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, equipment usage, safety, sanitation, and compliance. Shares knowledge and trains the team on new products, recipes, and production specifications.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourages others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drives business results by maintaining operational excellence, a clean and safe work area, appropriate staffing, and inventory accuracy. Produces and displays merchandise according to layout plans.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Develops and trains the team, encourages career growth, and sources new talent. Implements processes to meet business needs through collaboration and analysis. Promotes compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

The hourly wage range is $24.00 to $32.00, with actual pay depending on location and additional premiums based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications...
Minimum of 6 months experience in a bakery production department or supervising a team. Must be 18 years or older. Willing to complete required training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications...
Experience in bakery decoration, supervising associates, and Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
