Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service in our Fresh departments.

You will help customers find products, maintain clean and attractive displays, and stock merchandise across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery areas. You will use store technology to complete tasks efficiently, follow safety standards, and support multiple departments to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; prior retail or food service experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with exceptional product knowledge and friendly service.
• Assist across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Maintain fresh, visually appealing displays and stock shelves.
• Operate store technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep store operations running smoothly.
