  • Unload deliveries and arrange stockroom properly.
  • Monitor expiration dates and manage inventory effectively.
  • Wrap and pack items accurately as requested by customers.
  • Maintain safe working environments and comply with regulations.
  • Coordinate cleanliness and maintenance with the Maintenance Department.
  • Safeguard and monitor all department assets.
  • Handle expired products properly under supervision.
  • Greet customers and provide excellent service.
  • Follow cash handling procedures and checkout accurately.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing raw materials according to receipts or following the supervisor's instructions.
  • Assist with the preparation of the baking process, including forming, cutting, shaping, and baking dough; combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery; follow receipts to prepare drinks.
  • Ensure products have proper signage and are well merchandised following company standards; showcase quality and freshness to drive sales in the department.
  • Unload and break down deliveries, arrange the stockroom properly, stock shelves with products; refill products to meet customer needs and rotate products using First‑In First‑Out (FIFO) method.
  • Be aware of the expiration dates of products so that older products are taken off the shelves and newer products are ordered and stocked on time.
  • Wrap and pack items at the customer's request accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain safe working environments and comply with internal procedures or safety code to meet government regulation.
  • Coordinate cleanliness and maintenance needs with the Maintenance Department.
  • Control, safeguard, and monitor all department assets, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented for asset control.
  • Handle expired and recalled products properly under supervisor’s instructions; minimize dumping.
  • Follow supervisor’s instructions and do a demo to promote department sales.
  • Greet customers and provide excellent service to address their needs in a timely fashion; answer customer questions and introduce product samples to attract customers.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures and complete the check‑out process accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as needed for business needs.
