Job summary

Roche Bros. Supermarkets is seeking a bakery team member in Northern Kentucky. You will prepare, bake and display products, ensuring freshness, rotation and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting in receiving and stocking, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety and sanitation guidelines. Able to work a flexible schedule and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of baking techniques.
• Must interact positively with customers and work as a team.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers and provide prompt and courteous service.
• Maintain strong bakery team by collaborating with associates.
• Ensure high associate morale by promoting Respectful, Supportive, and Team-Oriented work.
• Assist in receiving and unloading merchandise and verify vendor invoices.
• Rotate bakery ingredients and use oldest products first (FIFO).
• Assist in ordering and inventory control.
• Handle damaged products per policy and control waste.
• Stock storage and display areas.
• Prepare bakery mixtures following procedures and recipes.
• Pan up frozen products and roll bread.
• Operate mixer and decorate cakes as per customer specifications.
• Adhere to health, safety, and packaging regulations.
• Practice sanitation procedures and maintain a neat appearance.
